Proceeds from event to support Community Kitchen Project
The Seneca County Young Professionals have announced that the 2022 Downtown Tiffin Pizza Party will take place on Thursday, September 15, 2022, from 5:30 to 8:30 PM, as part of Downtown Tiffin’s Third Thursday Series.
Guests can stroll through the largest pizza party ever in Downtown Tiffin and redeem $2 tickets for a pizza-related item from participating vendors. Half of each ticket will go to Seneca County Common Ground in support of The Community Kitchen Project. While guests are downtown, they can stop by a drink/DORA vendor for a beverage to-go.
This year’s event will include a record high of 15 participants including: Clover Club, Domino's Pizza, The Elks Lodge #94, The Empire, Fort Ball Pizza Palace, FroZone Tiffin, Heavenly Pizza, Jac & Do's, Jolly's, JT's Bagel Bar, Marco's Pizza, Napoli Pizza, Reino's Pizza & Pasta, Simply Susan's, and The VC Tiffin Cameo.
Attendees can purchase presale tickets at Ralph’s Joy of Living, Simply Susan’s, and The Renaissance of Tiffin beginning on August 19, 2022. Tickets will be sold the night of the event in the Seneca County Commissioners lot next to Reclaim It 127. Tickets can only be purchased with cash.
There will be live music with No Eileen from 5:00 to 7:30 PM in City Lot #7 sponsored by Bailiwicks Coffee Company, JT's Bagel Bar, Simply Susan's, and Tom Rodgers Flowers. Beth Mattia will be performing from 5:30 to 7:30 PM in City Lot #5, and Thursday Night Tunes, sponsored by Croghan Colonial Bank, featuring Poobah from 7:30 to 9:00 PM at the Frost-Kalnow Amphitheater at the East Green.
About the Seneca County Young Professionals
Seneca County Young Professionals was formed in 2014 as a way for young professionals in Tiffin and Seneca County to connect with each other as well as participate in and give back to the community. The organization started as an affiliate of and advisory council to the Tiffin - Seneca United Way, Inc., Tiffin, OH until 2019 when the group became an independent 501(c)3.
SCYP is an opportunity to get to know your peers through a blend of professional, volunteer and social events. Members are invited to participate in events hosted by each of our three committees – Connect, Inspire and Grow. With membership, most SCYP events are free. Additionally, members are eligible for exclusive perks, including our new professional scholarship program which can provide funds for professional development and training.
About Seneca County Common Ground
Created in 2019, Seneca County Common Ground is a nonprofit organization supporting local food & agriculture and promoting access to fresh foods for Seneca County residents. SCCG oversees the operations of the Tiffin Seneca Farmers Market and supports other local food initiatives including the Tiffin Community Kitchen Project. The Community Kitchen will focus on connecting local growers and businesses to the community, providing opportunities for groups to cook and eat together, housing a diverse set of cooking classes and creating ways to give back to the community by preparing food.
